Awards night for Garstang Juniors:
June 1st 18:00hrsFriday 1st May saw then end of season presentation evening for Garstang Juniors FC ‘Under 15’s’, held at the Riverside social club. Team sponsor, Amelia Jackson of AVJ Design & Print, Longridge was invited to attend the event and present the players with their awards.
Each player received an award for representing the club and special awards were presented to Luke Fox (Player of the year) Phillip Roskell (Players player) Alex Schultz (Merit award) and Ryan Crouch (Leading scorer). After the sudden death this season of Terry Crouch, a founder member of Garstang Juniors, a new award for ‘Outstanding achievement in junior football ‘ was presented in Terry’s memory. Daniel Crouch, Terry’s son presented goalkeeper, Jonathan Bennett with the memorial trophy and commemorative medal.
