The Website has now been updated in preparation for the 2010-2011 season.
All team "About Us" pages have been moved up an age group, to align with the 2010-2011 designation. These pages now require urgent amendment.
MANAGERS: All Managers/Coaches are required to check the content of these pages and advise any required changes to the Website Co-ordinator Mike Matthews, e-mail as soon as possible.
The existing "About Us" pages have now been moved to the archive section and can still be accessed via the Archive-2009-2010 button on the main menu panel, as can all the Newspages for 2009-2010.
Clicking any Archive 2009-2010 button will display a text compulation page which provides a route to the required archived pages. These now appear on the menu selection across the top of this page.
A huge debt of gratitude and thanks is extended to Ian Blezard, the Garstang Website Developer, for all his time and effort in creating a wonderful Club website for Cockerham JFC and his continual support and guidance regarding it's ongoing maintenance. Everyone is delighted with the outcome and continually comment on how good it is.
TRAINING SAT 10TH JULY:
JULY 9TH
We are having 2 training sessions on the 10th and 17th of July with the FA skills instructors in attendance to assist and give pointers for the coaches. I will also be sorting out registration forms for next season and collecting subs. Please bring along 2 passport pics and a copy of birth certificate for the league registration. Failing this there will be a registration night from 6.30 to 8.30 onthe 12th July at the village hall. Failure to register on time will mean you cannot play in the league games next season. I also have some forms for the Garstang FC lottery if anyone is interested. Our link with garstang is helping us with pitches and the website and they will also be organising soccer schools for us so this is important to the club.
F.A. SKILLS COACHES RETURN TO COCKERHAM
JUNE 15TH 05-15HRS
The highly successful programme of Skills Coaching, provided by the F.A., is to return to Cockerham in June and July 2010 for players and coaches of age groups, up to and including under ten. The programme focuses on the most recent F.A. developments for coaching and therefore coaches are required to attend all age group sessions if possible.
COACHES SCHEDULE The format is as follows: on 19th June and 03rd July Martyn and Dave (plus Tom, Alan and Michael) will run sessions for the under 6s, other coaches will attend to observe and pick up 'club pack' of info. 10th and 17th July will be Andy, Julian, Steve and Graham who will do sessions for under 7s and 8s, everyone else observes. 24th and 31st July John, Martin, Chris and Phil do sessions for under 9s and 10s, again the rest watch.
PLAYERS SCHEDULE Under 6s - 19th AND 03RD June. Under 7s and 8s - 10th and 17th July (mixed age group all to attend on both dates). Under 9s and 10s - 24th and 31st July (mixed age group all to attend on both dates).
All sessions will be held at Cocherham Village Hall from 9.30am-11am.
Sundays match (02/05/2010) will be kicking off at 03.00pm instead of 2.00pm. Please meet at 2.30pm.
The fixture is at home against Lancaster Giants. Training as usual at 9.15am saturday morning.
NEXT MATCH:
The next fixture we have arranged is on the 2nd May against Lancaster City Giants. This is a home fixture and the Kick off will be at 2pm. Can players please arrive at 1.30p.m.
TRAINING ON SATURDAY:
APRIL 14TH 20-40HRS
Training will be on this saturday 17th April at the new times- 09.15 to 010.45.
TRAINING CANCELLED:
APRIL 1ST 16-00HRS
Due to the Easter holidays and other commitments there will be no training on the 3rd or 10th of April .Training will recommence on the 17th April at 9.15.
