On behalf of Cockerham Junior Football Club, I extend a warm welcome to all visitors to our website. The site is the latest innovation in our endeavours to develop a thriving and progressive Club.
The Club, which was formed in 1997, currently boasts approximately one hundred and sixty players, supported by twenty two coaches, all of whom are required to gain their Level One coaching certification within their first year of operation. Eight teams are established in competitive leagues, U9 through to U16, with an additional three feeder squads, at U6, U7 and U8. Our partnership with Garstang Football Club then provides U16 players with a seamless transition into senior football with the Garstang Youth Team.
The FA Chartered Standard recognition was achieved in 2004, which in turn lead to the Club receiving the North West Chartered Standard Club of the Year Award for 2005. The Chartered Standard status was enhanced in 2007 when the club achieved Chartered Standard Development Status, going on to win the North West Chartered Standard Development Club of the Year Award in 2010.
